Shortbread Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
1. 1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter.
2. ½ cup (100 g) powdered sugar
3. 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).
2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
3. Add the flour gradually and mix until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ½ inch (1.2 cm) thickness.
5. Cut into rounds, fingers, or shapes of your choice.
6. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the edges are just turning golden (the tops should remain pale).
8. Let them cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
