salt and black pepper

2 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons of fresh parsley
400g (14oz) of fresh ripe tomatoes, peeled and diced
4 tablespoons of tomato paste (puree)
1 cup (240ml) of chicken stock

250g (9oz) of uncooked orecchiette (or another pasta of your choice)
