Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Caramelized Cinnamon Bananas
happy saturday 🌞
here’s a cozy weekend for ya
chocolate chip pancakes:
1/2 cup protein pancake mix @birchbenders
1/4 cup almond milk @malkorganics
1/4 cup water
chocolate chips @lilys_sweets
instructions:
add the pancake mix, almond milk, and water to bowl and mix until combined. fold in the chocolate chips. add some of the batter to a pan on medium heat. after about 3-4 minutes, flip the pancake. keep repeating this until all the batter is used (it made 3 medium sized pancakes for me). I topped the pancakes with caramelized bananas and maple syrup
caramelized bananas:
1 banana, cut into coin shapes
coconut oil
cinnamon
instructions:
slice the banana into coin shapes and add cinnamon on top of the coins. add coconut oil to a pan on medium heat and let the oil melt. once melted, place the banana coins (cinnamon side down) on the pan. add cinnamon to the side that’s face up now. once the bananas start sizzling, flip them and let cook for about another 2 minutes
