π Ingredients (Makes 12β14 bombs)
Dough:
All-purpose flour β 2 cups (250 g)
Instant yeast β 1 tsp (3 g)
Sugar β 1 tsp (5 g)
Salt β Β½ tsp (3 g)
Oil β 1 tbsp (15 ml)
Warm milk β ΒΎ cup (180 ml)
Filling:
Mozzarella cheese β 1 cup (100 g)
Cheddar cheese β Β½ cup (50 g)
Pizza sauce β 6 tbsp (90 g)
Boiled chicken (optional) β Β½ cup (75 g)
Capsicum β 2 tbsp (20 g)
Sweet corn β 2 tbsp (20 g)
Black olives β 1 tbsp (10 g)
Oregano β Β½ tsp (1 g)
Chili flakes β Β½ tsp (1 g)
Coating:
Egg β 1 (or milk 3 tbsp / 45 ml)
Breadcrumbs β 1 cup (60 g)
Oil β for frying
π Method:
Prepare Dough:
Mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, oil, and warm milk. Knead for 6β8 minutes until soft. Cover and rest for 45β60 minutes until doubled.
Prepare Filling:
Mix mozzarella, cheddar, pizza sauce, chicken, vegetables, oregano, and chili flakes.
Shape Pizza Bombs:
Divide dough into small balls. Flatten each, add 1 tbsp filling, seal tightly, and shape into balls.
Coat:
Dip each ball in egg/milk, then roll in breadcrumbs.
Fry:
Fry on medium heat until golden and crispy.
(Optional: Bake at 180Β°C for 15β18 minutes or air fry at 180Β°C for 10β12 minutes.)
Serve:
Serve hot with garlic sauce or pizza dip. Enjoy the cheese pull! π
