White bread slices – 8
Boiled chicken (shredded) or boiled potato (mashed) – 1 cup (120 g)
Onion (finely chopped) – 2 tbsp (20 g)
Green chili (optional) – 1 tsp (5 g)
Salt – Β½ tsp (3 g)
Black pepper – Β½ tsp (2 g)
Red chili flakes – Β½ tsp (2 g)
Cumin powder – Β½ tsp (2 g)
Garam masala – ΒΌ tsp (1 g)
Fresh coriander (chopped) – 2 tbsp (10 g)

For Sealing
Cornstarch – 1 tbsp (8 g)
Water – 2 tbsp

For Coating
Egg – 1 large (beaten)
Breadcrumbs – 1 cup (50 g)

For Frying
Oil – for deep or shallow frying

Prepare Filling
Mix chicken/potato with onion, garlic, spices & coriander. Set aside.

Prepare Bread
Trim edges of bread slices and flatten gently using a rolling pin.

Fill & Roll
Place 1–2 tbsp filling on each bread slice.
Roll tightly like a cylinder.

Seal
Mix cornstarch + water to make a paste.
Seal edges properly so rolls don’t open while frying.

Coating
Dip each roll in beaten egg, then coat well with breadcrumbs.

Fry
Fry on medium heat until golden brown and crispy from all sides.
