1/2 cup (120 g) sour cream
1/4 cup (60 ml) mayonnaise
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp olive brine (from the jar of green olives)
1/4 cup (40 g) green olives, finely chopped
1/4 cup (40 g) Kalamata olives, finely chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Base:
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Beat until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or whisk.
Add the Flavors:
Stir in the lemon juice, olive brine, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Fold in the Olives:
Gently fold in the green and Kalamata olives until evenly distributed.
Chill the Dip:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors develop.
Garnish and Serve:
Top with fresh parsley or dill and serve with crackers, toasted pita, or sliced veggies.
Tips:
