Ingredients
• 200 g glutinous rice flour
• 2 tbsp rice flour
• 150 ml warm water
• A few drops of pandan essence (or blended pandan leaves for natural extract)
• Green food coloring (optional, just for brighter color)
• 100 g palm sugar, finely chopped
• Fresh grated coconut for coating
• A pinch of salt
• 2 pandan leaves (for boiling water)

Steps
1. Prepare coconut coating → Steam grated coconut with a pinch of salt for 10 minutes, set aside.
2. Make the dough → Mix glutinous rice flour, rice flour, pandan essence, and warm water until smooth and pliable.
3. Shape the balls → Flatten a small piece of dough, fill with palm sugar, then seal and roll into a ball.
4. Boil the klepon → Drop into boiling water with pandan leaves. When they float, they’re ready!
5. Coat with coconut → Roll the boiled klepon in the grated coconut until fully covered.
6. Serve & enjoy → Soft, chewy, with a burst of melted palm sugar inside.
