One-Pan Lemon Garlic Chicken with Asparagus

    🛒 Ingredients:
    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs 🍗

    1 bunch asparagus, trimmed

    2 tbsp olive oil

    3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄

    Juice and zest of 1 lemon 🍋

    1 tsp dried oregano or thyme 🌿

    Salt & pepper to taste

    Lemon slices (optional, for garnish) 🍋

    Fresh parsley, chopped (optional) 🌿

    🔪 Instructions:
    1. Prep the Chicken & Marinade 🍗🍋
    In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, salt, and pepper.

    Coat chicken in the mixture and let marinate for at least 10 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for extra flavor).

    2. Sear the Chicken 🔥
    Heat a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat.

    Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

    3. Cook the Asparagus 🥬
    In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed.

    Toss in asparagus and sauté for 3–5 minutes until crisp-tender.

    Season with a pinch of salt and squeeze in a little extra lemon juice if desired.

    4. Combine & Serve 🍽️
    Return chicken to the pan with asparagus.

    Warm everything together for 1–2 minutes.
