Cottage cheese breakfast bowl – caramelised fruit edition 🍑🍯
Cottage cheese is a great way to switch things up from your usual skyr or yogurt bowl: a clean protein base you can go wild on with all of your favourite toppings 😋
This one with caramelised fruit took a tiny bit of extra effort but was so worth it 😍
Recipe: – 200g cottage cheese – ½ banana – ½ peach – 1 tsp coconut oil – 1 tsp maple syrup – 20g granola (@turtlecereals power granola #gifted) – 1 tsp honey
1) Slice the banana and peach. 2) Melt the coconut oil in a grill pan, add the fruit slices and drizzle with maple syrup. Flip when browned and fry the other side til browned too. 3) Assemble: cottage cheese, fruit, granola and a drizzle of honey
