For the Steak Tips:
1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
2 garlic cloves, minced
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Pasta:
12 oz (340g) linguine pasta
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1 ½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup mozzarella cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
½ tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
½ tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Boil linguine according to package directions in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
Sear the Steak Tips
In a skillet, heat olive oil/butter over medium-high heat.
Toss steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Sear in batches (don’t overcrowd) for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.
Remove and set aside.
Make the Cheesy Parmesan Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Stir in heavy cream and milk. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
Add Parmesan (and mozzarella if using), stirring until smooth and creamy.
Season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
If too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually until desired consistency.
Combine
Toss cooked linguine into the cheesy sauce until coated.
Add steak tips back in, mixing gently.
Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
Serve hot with garlic bread or a fresh side salad.
👉 This dish is creamy, spicy, and savory all in one—perfect for a comfort food dinner with a Cajun twist.
