If you’ve got a tin of Milo sitting in the pantry and zero motivation… this is your answer. Melt, mix, bake. Done.

Chewy oats, that malty Milo flavour and crispy golden edges? It’s basically ANZAC slice’s chocolatey cousin — and the kids inhale it.

INGREDIENTS
• 125g butter, melted
• 60g (½ cup) plain flour
• 65g (½ cup) self raising flour
• 65g (½ cup) Milo
• 85g (1 cup) rolled oats
• 150g (⅔ cup) brown sugar
• 65g (⅔ cup) desiccated coconut
• 1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 170°C (fan-forced). Grease and line a 20cm x 20cm slice tin.
Melt the butter in a large bowl.
Add all remaining ingredients and mix until well combined.
Press the mixture evenly into the prepared tin.
Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
