🍗 Ultra-Crispy Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders

Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. These golden chicken tenders are soaked in seasoned buttermilk, double-dredged, and fried to crunchy perfection. Serve with spicy mayo or honey mustard and just try to eat only one — we dare you.



Ingredients:
• 1 lb chicken tenders or sliced chicken breast
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• ½ cup cornstarch
• Neutral oil for frying (canola or vegetable)

Optional dipping sauce:
• ¼ cup mayo + 1 tbsp hot sauce + 1 tsp honey (mix well)



Instructions:
1. Marinate: In a bowl, mix chicken with buttermilk, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper. Chill at least 1 hour (or overnight).
2. Coat: In another bowl, combine flour and cornstarch. Dredge chicken pieces in the mix, pressing firmly for a thick, crispy coating.
3. Fry: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry chicken in batches for 4–5 min until deep golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
4. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
