Easy Lemon Cream Cheese Pie

Ingredients
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
½ cup granulated sugar, divided
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
½ cup fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
Optional: whipped cream for topping

Instructions
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ¼ cup sugar. Press into a 9-inch pie pan.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining ¼ cup sugar until smooth.
Gradually add sweetened condensed milk, beating until combined.
Stir in lemon juice and zest until smooth and thickened.
Pour filling into crust and chill for at least 4 hours or until set.
Top with whipped cream before serving if desired.
