NOT a the prettiest of meals -
but super quick and super tasty!
RECIPE ⬇️⬇️serves 4
Syns depending on the gnocchi you buy - check as they vary so much!!
500g 5% lean pork mince
500g gnocchi (@asda seems to be the lowest #syns I’ve managed to pick up. 7 for 125g)
1 onion diced
400g finely chopped tomatoes
60g parmesan (2 a choices between 4)
3 garlic cloves, grated/ minced
Handful fresh basil
tbs Marmite
2 tsp dried basil
2tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried chilli flakes
Brocolli and carrots to serve for extra #speedfood
Put the gnocchi on to boil for around 4-5 minutes, drain and set aside
Fry off the onion and garlic until soft then add the mince to brown
Add the Marmite to the pan with the dried oregano, dried basil, chilli flakes
Add the chopped tomatoes with 200ml boiled water, and a pinch of salt and pepper and bring to the boil over a high heat until thickens
Stir through the fresh basil leaves and serve
Sprinkle over parmesan (use part #healthyextra or syns )
