Buttery Garlic–Cheddar Drop Biscuits
Ingredients:
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cubed
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• ¾ cup milk (or buttermilk)
🧑🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until mixture looks crumbly.
4. Stir in the cheddar cheese. Add milk and mix gently until just combined.
5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown on top.
7. (Optional) Brush hot biscuits with a mixture of melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley for extra flavor.
