My triple chocolate brownie recipe is without a doubt one of the most popular bakes on my blog, every single week. However, as I truly LOVE baking with sourdough discard, I made a discard version and they are just… 👌👌👌
INGREDIENTS
150g unsalted butter
200g dark chocolate
4 eggs
275g light brown soft sugar
125g unfed sourdough discard
50g cocoa powder
50g plain flour
200g chocolate chips
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180ºc/160ºc fan and line a 9” square tin with baking parchment
Add the butter and dark chocolate to a bowl and melt
Add the eggs, sugar and sourdough discard to a new bowl and mix well
Add the melted butter/chocolate mixture and stir to combine
Add the cocoa powder and plain flour and mix through again
Fold through the chocolate chips
Pour into the lined tin and bake for 25-30 minutes
Leave to cool fully in the tin and then set in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours
