• 4 eggs

• 1 cups flour

• 2 teaspoons baking powder(halal-certified)

• A pinch of salt

• 1/2 cup hot cow milk (boiling)

How to make it:

1. Start by beating the eggs, sugar, and vanilla really well until the sugar completely dissolves. You can use a hand mixer, blender, or even a whisk (just takes more time).

2. Add the oil and mix again.

3. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold it in using a hand whisk or spatula — don’t use the mixer here.

4. Lastly, pour in the hot milk. Don’t worry, it won’t cook the eggs — it just makes the cake extra fluffy.

5. Pour the batter into a medium-sized greased pan.

6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for around 45 minutes, middle rack, until golden and cooked through.
