Vanilla Dream Loaf with Creamy Frosting
Vanilla Loaf Cake
Ingredients
1½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200g) sugar
3 large eggs (room temperature)
½ cup (120ml) milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
lInstructions
1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. Cream Butter and Sugar:
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar using a hand or stand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).
4. Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Then mix in the vanilla extract.
5. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients in two parts, alternating with the milk.
Mix gently after each addition until just combined — do not overmix.
6. Bake the Cake:
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top evenly.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Cool the Cake:
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
Optional Frosting
Top with vanilla buttercream or cream cheese frosting and colorful sprinkles for a festive look!
