The Best & Easy Dinner Rolls Recipe.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup warm milk (110°F / 43°C)
• 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
• ¼ cup white sugar
• 4 cups all-purpose flour
• ¼ tsp salt
• 2 large eggs
• ⅓ cup butter, melted
💁♂️Instructions:
1. Activate Yeast – In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. Mix Dough – Add eggs, melted butter, flour, and salt. Stir until a dough forms.
3. Knead & Rise – Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes (or use a mixer) until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
4. Shape Rolls – Punch down the dough, divide into 12–16 equal pieces, and shape into balls. Arrange them in a greased baking dish or sheet pan.
5. Second Rise – Cover and let rise again for 30–40 minutes until puffy.
6. Bake – Brush the tops with egg wash or melted butter. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
7. Finish – While warm, brush with extra butter for that soft, shiny finish.
