SOY SAUCE CHICKEN:

You need to save this one because it ticks a lot of boxes!

It’s a one pan cook, takes under 30 minutes to make, uses very few ingredients, it’s affordable and it’s ridiculously tasty!

SERVES 2: Difficulty ⭐️

⏲️ PREP: 5 Minutes.

In a small bowl mix 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tbsp ginger paste, 4 tbsp honey, 4 tbsp water, 3 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce & 2 tsp rice vinegar.

⏲️ COOK: 20 Minutes.

🍗 Heat a large pan (one that has a lid) with 2 tsp oil. Over medium high heat add 4 skin on, bone in chicken thighs skin side down and sear for 2 minutes. Flip them over and repeat.

🍗 Pour the sauce in and reduce the heat to a gentle simmer. Put the lid on and cook for 7 minutes. Flip the chicken over and repeat.

🍗 Flip the chicken over to skin side up, baste with the sauce and remove from the heat. Serve over steamed rice and enjoy 😉

There you have it, done 👍 I used @lidlgb chicken thighs which for 1Kg are a bargain £2.89. I used 4 and have 4 in the freezer for another day!
