Pomegranate & Pistachio Brie Pastry Bites with Rosemary Honey
Golden puff pastry bites filled with creamy brie, adorned with pomegranate and pistachios, and finished with a drizzle of rosemary honey for a festive touch.
Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed and cut into 12 squares
120 g brie cheese, cut into 12 small cubes
1/4 cup pomegranate arils
1/4 cup pistachios, finely chopped
2 tbsp honey
1 sprig fresh rosemary
Instructions:
Prepare the Pastry Bites: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Position each puff pastry square into a mini muffin tin or on a lined baking sheet, gently pressing to create a small cup shape. Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry square.
Bake the Bites: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the pastry achieves a golden hue and the brie is thoroughly melted.
Infuse the Honey: While the bites are baking, gently warm the honey with the rosemary sprig over low heat for 3-4 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Remove the rosemary prior to drizzling.
Add the Toppings: Once the bites are removed from the oven, immediately sprinkle with pomegranate arils and finely chopped pistachios. Drizzle each bite with the rosemary-infused honey for an elegant finish.
