Caramelised pecan oatmeal 🥣
Sweet, nutty, and so comforting 🤎 This caramelized pecan oatmeal has warm, toasty flavors and a sweet crunch. Ideal for slow mornings or whenever you’re craving something cozy and delicious 😋
Recipe (by @aheartforfood):
- 55gr oats (@prozis )
- 125ml hot water
- 130gr milk
- 10gr chia seeds (@prozis )
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 20gr pecans
- 4gr liquid butter
- 20gr maple syrup
- pinch of salt

1) In a small pot, soak the oats in the hot water for 3 minutes.
2) Stir in the milk, chia seeds, and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened to your liking.
3) Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan. Chop the pecans and add them to the pan with the maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Let everything caramelise until it smells toasty and sweet.
4) Spoon the oats into a bowl and top with the caramelised pecans.
