🫚 1 tbsp Ginger, grated or chopped
🌱 1 stalk Green onion, only the green part
🌿 1 handful Cilantro, chopped
Sauce Mixture:
🌶️ 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (or Tamari or Coconut aminos)
🥢 1 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
🍯 1 tbsp Honey
🌶️ 1 tsp Sriracha sauce
🍚 1 tsp Rice Wine Vinegar
Optional Toppings for Serving:
🥬 Lettuce leaves
🥕 Carrots, shredded
🥒 Cucumber, sliced
🥜 Peanuts, chopped

📝 Instructions:

1️⃣ First, dice the onion, garlic, green onions, red pepper, jalapeno, and cilantro. 🌶️🧄🧅
2️⃣ Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. 🥘
3️⃣ Add ground chicken, break apart, and cook until no longer pink. 🍗
4️⃣ Drain excess fat on a paper towel and set aside. 🧻
5️⃣ In the same skillet, add another tsp of sesame oil and sauté the chopped onions, garlic, and peppers until softened. 🥘🧅🧄
6️⃣ Add the chicken pieces back to the skillet and include shredded carrots. 🥕
7️⃣ In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey. 🥢🍯
8️⃣ Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and stir well to combine. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes. 🥘
9️⃣ Season with salt and pepper to taste. 🧂
🔟 Remove from heat and add sliced green onions and chopped cilantro. 🌱
