Caramelised banana almond stuffed French toast (recipe ✨👇)

Recipe:

Other:
• 2 slices of bread
• 1/2 banana (sliced)
• almond butter
• 1 tsp butter/coconut oil (for frying)

French toast mix:
Combine .. 1 egg, 150 ml milk, 1 tsp cinnamon
and 1/2 tsp vanilla in a bowl.
Dunk your bread in the french toast mix until both sides are covered.
Add the homemade berry compote and sliced banana on to one face of the dunked french toast and cover with the other (like your make a sandwich).
Heat and medium frying pan with a little butter and add your french toast sandwich.
Cook until lightly golden on both sides and enjoy warm with caramelised banana and a drizzle of almond butter.

Homemade berry compote:
Put a handful of berries (of choice) in a microwaveable mug along with 1 tsp honey
and 1 tsp chia seeds, microwave for 1 min 30 seconds or until the berries have melted.
Mix and let cool for 5 minutes.

Caramelised banana:
Heat a frying pan up with 1 tsp of honey. Slice a banana and then add your sliced banana to your frying pan with the honey. Cook until lightly golden on both sides (keep a close eye on it!!)
