Gooey Chocolate Hazelnut Muffins
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped hazelnuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Extra hazelnut paste or melted chocolate
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Decorate with melted chocolate, Nutella or hazelnut and crushed nuts
