Fun and Spooky Halloween Monster Snack Mix Recipe
đ HALLOWEEN TRAIL MIX đŤ
This Halloween Trail Mix is the perfect âgrab and goâ treat for movie marathons, trick-or-treat prep, or sneaking a handful when no oneâs looking. Itâs got everythingâsoft marshmallows, chewy fruit, crunchy nuts, and gooey candy bitsâfor that perfect mix of textures and flavors. Itâs festive, fast, and frighteningly good!
Ingredients (makes 3â4 cups):
⢠1 bag mini Halloween marshmallows
⢠1 cup raisins
⢠1 cup fun-size candy bars, chopped (Snickers, Milky Way, or Baby Ruth)
⢠½ cup dried cranberries
⢠½ cup walnuts
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix together marshmallows, raisins, chopped candy, cranberries, and walnuts.
2. Give it a good toss and try not to eat it all before you serve it!
3. Store in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
đ Halloween Fact: Trick-or-treating didnât originally involve candy! Early Halloween treats included fruits, nuts, and small toysâcandy only took over in the 1950s when chocolate companies saw the (sweet) opportunity.
đť Spooky Serving Idea: Serve your trail mix in black cauldrons, orange cupcake liners, or little treat bags tied with twine and googly eyes. For a pop of color, toss in a few candy corn pieces or orange-and-black M&Ms before serving!
