Ingredients:
2 (5 oz) cans tuna, drained 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat) 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder Salt and pepper to taste 4 slices of your favorite bread 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Directions:
Preheat your broiler or oven to 400°F (200°C). In a medium bowl, mix together tuna, mayonnaise, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, red onion, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined. Spread the tuna mixture evenly onto two slices of bread. Top with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches. Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil or bake for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted. Slice and serve hot!
