Method (Quick & Simple) 1. Cream butter + both sugars. 2. Mix in egg, maple syrup, vanilla, maple extract. 3. Add dry: flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt. Mix just until combined. 4. Chill dough 1 hour. 5. Bake at 175°C / 350°F for 10–12 min. Cool fully.
Icing 6. Brown butter in a pan until golden + nutty. 7. Whisk browned butter + powdered sugar + maple syrup + milk (adjust thickness). 8. Dip or spread over cooled cookies. Let set.
