    Ingredients:

    4-5 large lemons

    4 cups of sugar

    1/2 cup of water

    1 tablespoon of lemon juice

    1 packet (1.75 oz) pectin

    Preparation:

    1. Prepare Lemons: Wash the lemons well. Zest them, then cut them in half and squeeze out the juice. Remove any seeds.

    2. Make the Jam Base: In a large pot, combine the lemon juice, zest, water, and sugar. Stir well over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

    3. Cook the Jam: Add the pectin and bring the mixture to a boil. Let it boil for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. You can test if it’s ready by placing a small spoonful of jam on a cold plate and seeing if it thickens.
