🥩 Steak Cubes with Gorgonzola Cream & Caramelized Pears
Ingredients (Serves 2–3):
For the steak: • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye, cut into rustic cubes • 1 tbsp olive oil • 1 clove garlic, smashed • Salt & black pepper
For the sauce: • 1 tbsp butter • ½ cup heavy cream • ½ cup gorgonzola cheese (or blue cheese), crumbled • 1 tsp Dijon mustard • Freshly ground black pepper
For the pears: • 1 ripe pear, sliced • 1 tbsp butter • 1 tsp honey
Instructions: 1. Heat a skillet with olive oil and garlic. Sear steak cubes until browned outside and medium-rare inside. Remove and rest. 2. In another pan, melt butter, add cream, mustard, and gorgonzola. Stir until melted into a creamy sauce. 3. In a small skillet, sauté pear slices in butter and honey until caramelized and golden. 4. Return steak to the skillet with sauce, coat lightly. Serve topped with pears, walnuts, and thyme.
