🍽️Creamy and Cheesy Chicken Casserole That Will Steal the Show
Ingredients:
3 cups cooked chicken, shredded 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup 1 cup sour cream 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn) 1 cup crushed buttery crackers 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder Salt and pepper to taste 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Fold in the frozen mixed vegetables and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the chicken mixture. Transfer the chicken mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly. In a separate bowl, combine the crushed buttery crackers with the remaining cheddar cheese. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
