Aloo Paratha Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
Water as needed (for kneading dough)
Salt to taste
2 medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)
1 small onion (finely chopped, optional)
1–2 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 tsp ginger (grated)
2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp amchur (dry mango powder)
Ghee or oil (for cooking)
Instructions:
1. Knead wheat flour with water and a little salt to make a soft dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
2. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with onion, chilies, ginger, coriander, and spices to prepare the stuffing.
3. Divide dough into small balls, roll out slightly, place stuffing in the center, and seal.
4. Gently roll into a flat paratha.
5. Heat a tawa, cook the paratha on both sides with ghee/oil until golden brown.
6. Serve hot with butter, curd, or pickle.
