One Pot Chili Mac

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

2 cups beef or chicken broth

1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked

1 tbsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

In a large pot or skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.

Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then add uncooked macaroni. Reduce heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.

Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
