DELICIOUS CHICKEN WRAPS
For Chicken:
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 spoonfuls Orleans marinade
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp cooking oil
For Sauce:
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp chili bean paste
- 2 tbsp sweet noodle sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp minced onion
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
Cornstarch Slurry:
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
For Dough:
- 300g all-purpose flour
- 3g salt
- 180ml boiling water
Pastry Paste:
- 3 tbsp flour
- 6 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions:
1. Marinate Chicken:
- Mix chicken with marinade ingredients. Marinate for 1 hour.
2. Prepare Sauce:
- Heat oil, add chili bean paste, sweet noodle sauce, tomato paste, garlic, and onion. Cook until fragrant.
- Add sugar and oyster sauce, adjust taste, then add the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened. Set aside to cool.
3. Make Dough:
- Combine flour, salt, and boiling water. Knead into a smooth dough.
- Divide into 12 balls. Roll each ball thin, brush with pastry paste.
- Place another flattened dough on top, sprinkle with flour, and roll out super flat (4x original size).
- Pan-fry on low heat until puffed.
4. Cook Chicken:
- Fry marinated chicken until cooked.
5. Assemble Wraps:
- Separate wrappers, spread with sauce, add vegetables and cooked chicken, and wrap up.
