- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder

Procedure
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir the mixture until it’s just combined and smooth. Be careful not to overmix.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. The brownies should be set but still slightly gooey in the middle.

Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the brownies out of the pan and transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into squares and enjoy!
