Hủ Tiếu Khô/Dry Version of Pork and Seafood Noodle. Maybe I’ll do a video again for it 😘
Recipe for sauce
•3 tablespoon fish sauce (3 crabs 🦀 brand)
•1/2 regular cup soy sauce
•1/2 cup oyster sauce (panda brand)
•1/2 cup water
•1/2 cup white sugar
•1/4 cup cooking oil
•1/4 cup chopped garlic
•1/4 cup sliced shallots.
•1 teaspoon ground pepper
•1 teaspoon msg (optional)
•1/2 tablespoon chicken powder/bouillon
•1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
•In a small pot add cooking oil and chopped garlic. Fry on medium until garlic come to a light golden color. Stri constantly so the garlic doesn’t burn.
2•Take off heat and remove the toasted garlic from the oil. Do not over fry. The garlic will become bitter. 3•Add the sliced shallots to the oil and continue frying until shallots turn golden. Stir constantly so the shallots doesn’t get burnt.
4•Turn stove off the heat first then add in the water, oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, msg, chicken powder and ground pepper.
5•simmer for 1-2 minutes. Taste and adjust. Add back the toasted garlic and sesame oil. Stir and enjoy 😉.
Serve hot or let it completely cool off. Add as much as needed. Then stored it in the refrigerator for later use. Good for a week. You can cut the recipe in half.
Endless topping, anything you prefer. Here is a few I would recommend: pork fat, ground pork, char siu, shrimp, calamari, fish cake, fried fish balls, fried pork or beef balls, fried shallots, chives, cilantro etc…Serve with cook bean sprouts, fresh lettuce and herbs. #nuocmamafoods #heffaaclub #nuocmamafoodsrecipe #hutieu #mikho #drynoodle #drynoodles #noodle #noodles
